Dr Peirce is an Ophthalmic Surgeon who specialises in Micro-incision cataract surgery using monofocal and multifocal intraocular lenses and Oculoplastic surgery – both reconstructive and cosmetic.
He completed his specialisation in Ophthalmology at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1992. He has been in private practice in the Sandton area since 1993. Is a founder member of the Sandhurst Eye Centre as well as the South African Society of Oculoplastic Surgeons (SASOPS) and was the inaugural President of SASOPS.
He is also an international member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons and is currently the ONLY South African member. He is also a member of the Ophthalmologic Society of South Africa.
